• Anonymous device identifier — a random id stored on your device so your recipe history and votes work without an account.
• Recipe inputs — your baby's age range, ingredients, dietary needs, preparation preferences, and the recipes generated for you.
• Feedback — your likes and dislikes, used to tailor future suggestions.
• Account data — if you sign in, your email address and sign-in provider (email, Google or Apple).
• Usage and billing records — generation counts for enforcing free limits, plus subscription and purchase status. Card details are handled by Stripe, never by us.
• Technical data — request logs and a hashed form of your IP address used for abuse prevention and troubleshooting.

We do not ask for your child's name, birth date or health records, and you should not enter them. Age is collected only as a broad range.

• Performance of a contract — providing recipe generation, accounts and paid plans.
• Legitimate interests — security, abuse prevention, fixing errors and improving the app.
• Consent — non-essential cookies and analytics, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Legal obligation — accounting and tax records for purchases.

We rely on a small number of providers acting on our instructions: our hosting and database platform (application hosting, authentication, database and image storage), an AI provider that generates recipe text and images from your inputs, and Stripe for payments. Data may be processed outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards such as the EU standard contractual clauses.

Recipe history and feedback are kept while your device identifier or account remains active. Account and subscription records are kept for the life of the account; invoicing records are kept as long as tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at babychefai@itemap.com.

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to babychefai@itemap.com; we respond within one month. You may also complain to the Slovak Data Protection Authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR) or the authority in your country.

The app is intended for parents and carers aged 16 or over. It is not designed for use by children.
